Identity and Profile

Brief:

In order to preserve the integrity of an open marketplace, and to protect participants in the transactions, Ajeva requires that all users follow Ajeva's Identity and Profile Policy.

The policy in brief, requires that only one user account may be created and used for each individual user, and that all information presented be truthful, and verifiable.

Definitions:

User: an individual who will participate in Ajeva's open marketplace.

User Account: the Ajeva account associated with a user.

User Profile: the collection of a User's provided contact, and professional information, and history and feedback earned on Ajeva's open marketplace.

Policies:

1. Each User may create and use only one User Account.

The Integrity of Ajeva's open marketplace, and user feedback is damaged when a user can leave their history and feedback by creating a new account. Additionally, other policies created by Ajeva for protection of the users participating in Ajeva's open marketplace, are also negatively affected by the use of multiple accounts. Thus Ajeva restricts each user to a single user account on the site.

Some prohibited behaviors include but are not limited to:

a. Creating a separate buyer and provider accounts to hire oneself.

b. Creating a new user account for the reason of leaving your past history and feedback.

2. Each User Account may be used by only one User.

The integrity of Ajeva's history and feedback system is damaged if the history and feedback associated with a user account is not earned by that user. Thus Ajeva restricts each user account to be used only by a single user; whole contact information is on the account.

Some prohibited behaviors include but are not limited to:

a. Sharing a User Account for the reason of concealing the identity of the person actually doing the work.

b. Sharing a User Account for the reason of artificially boosting the hours and feedback in the profile history.

This policy is not applicable to a company profile's history and feedback. This will naturally be an aggregate of the activities done by the accounts under the company. These profiles can be transferred between owners, and depending on the user role, multiple users can access and use a company account.

3. All identity and contact information provided on a User Account must be truthful and verifiable.

In order to protect all participants in a transaction on Ajeva's open marketplace, users' identity and contact information must be truthful and verifiable. The following rules apply:

a. User must provide their real name.

    For example,

    i. You may not use a company identifier as your name.

ii. You may not use someone else's name.

iii. You may not use a fake name.

b. User must provide their own contact information.

    For example,

    i. Your address, when provided must be real and verifiable.

ii. You must show your true location information.

c. User portrait must be a likeness of the user.

    For example,

    i. You may not use a company logo as your portrait.

ii. You may not use a group picture as your portrait.

iii. You may not use a likeness of someone else as your portrait.

4. Ajeva reserves the right to verify each user's identity at any time.

In order to enforce Ajeva policies, Ajeva may require Users to verify their name and contact information on their User Profile by submitting some or all of the following documents:

a. Legal/Government issued document that shows name and contact information

b. Government issued photo identity document

A verification can be used for, but not limited to:

a. Determining ownership of hacked accounts

b. Determining ownership of duplicate accounts

c. Determining ownership of accounts showing suspicious or high risk activity

d. Unsuspending accounts

If name or contact information are not real and cannot be verified, then Ajeva can at its discretion:

a. Suspend hiring from the account
