Freelance writers and artists are often victims of creative rut. Sometimes, you stare at your PC for more than thirty minutes and you can't type a cohesive thought. When it's hard to get creative, just which site do you go to so you can get that creative juice flowing? Share your tips ( as I'm running out of one ). Thanks! |

I know this might sound a little odd, but for what it's worth: Whenever I need a boost, I visit humorous sites such as www.peopleofwalmart.com; www.lamebook.com; www.epicwtfs.com; www.boners.com or simply watch funny stuff on YouTube. Oh and the 'demotivation' sites are great too! Like www.demoties.com and many others. I've found 'switch off and laugh' to be a great reliever, besides the incredibly creative ideas that suddenly burst out of nowhere. Hope this helps! Haha... had an awesome time! Got myself an iPad to help get me out of a slump and now, it's killing my productivity; I'm becoming a certified app addict. Who knows? Perhaps one day, someone will produce a 'creativity pill' that people can pop like some multivitamin. Thanks for sharing these sites! |
