I'm just curious on how many clients can a freelancer handle and what's the ultimate threshold? I just heard that some freelancers manage more than five, by outsourcing their outsourced work. I'm just running solo, so what do you think is the ideal number?

I'll be answering this question as a solo freelancer: three to four projects. But, those who are running a freelance business or agency may exceed this number as they have a team of other freelancers who can work for their client. I think, you may even have five or six... it really depends on how many hours you are willing to work for each week. Hope that helps!
