I've once watched a video on YouTube that says time management is a myth; you can't manage what's in motion...BUT, you can manage yourself and have more discipline in working your way through your projects so you can make it to your clients' deadlines. Perhaps all you need is a dose of motivation, organization, and if all else fails - Guerilla Time Management tactics that work. Good Luck! -issa

Recognize that there is no such thing as multitasking. You are only switch tasking (sometimes very fast). Each time you switch task, there is an overhead in your mind to adjust to the new task.

Set specific times for yourself to work on each project, and stay focused. Keep specific work hours, and communication hours. Turn off your instant messenger during work hours, and don't check your emails.

Some of the best and most successful freelancers I know are also the most disciplined when it comes to protecting their time, and managing it.

Multitasking is like being an expert in everything and a master of none... I totally agree with you here, just that it's my first to read about switch tasking.

I think the biggest challenge for me is to keep away from 'Plants vs Zombies' - I will definitely need more discipline. Thanks!
