It is very recent that a common freelancer has a global market and competition. The new work economy is moving more and more to temporary work vs. permanent employment. In this new economy, what challenges do you as a freelancer face daily? |

It's a great news indeed that freelancing is on the rise these days and there's a growing demand for freelance talents. I think that there should be a payment protection policy in place, something that's standard to all freelancers - to help make them feel safe in this high risk business. Personally, one of the biggest challenge I'm facing as a freelancer is work continuity, especially when you're freelancing full-time; you just never know when a project would get terminated due to reasons A-Z. Then, there are minor things like freelancing burn out and saying no to clients/projects that you feel will not enhance your career as a freelancer. |
